IP Bonding on Redhat Linux


# vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
IPADDR=192.168.1.12

# vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1
DEVICE=eth1
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
IPADDR=192.168.1.13

# vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:0
DEVICE=eth0:0
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
MASTER=bond0
SLAVE=yes
USERCTL=no

# vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1:0
DEVICE=eth1:0
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
MASTER=bond0
SLAVE=yes
USERCTL=no

# vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bond0
DEVICE=bond0
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
IPADDR=192.168.1.11

Aktifkan mode bonding
# vi /etc/modprobe.conf
install bond0 /sbin/modprobe bonding bond0

Restart network-nya
# /etc/init.d/network restart

Hasil :
IP NIC1: 192.168.1.12
IP NIC2 : 192.168.1.13
IP Bonding : 192.168.1.11
